말로 해도 공감할 수 없는
노래를 쓰고 있었어.
그리고 아무도 감히
그 침묵의 소리를 깨뜨리지 못했지.

"바보들" 내가 말했어.
"당신들은 침묵을 몰라요.
그건 마치 암이 퍼지는 것과 같죠.
내 말을 들어봐요.
내가 알려 줄께요.
내 손을 잡아 봐요.
내가 다가 갈께요."
하지만 나의 얘기는
소리없이 내리는 빗방울처럼
침묵의 샘안에 떨어져
메아리 쳤어.

사람들은 자신이 만든
네온 신에게 절하고 기도했어.
그리고 그 네온이 만들어 내는 문구에
경고의 메시지가 빛났어.
이렇게 쓰여 있었지.
"예언자의 말씀은
지하철 벽에, 집안의 벽에 적혀 있다"
그리고 침묵의 소리 속에 속삭였지.
